Our Founders
Since its inception in 1975 in Phoenix, Arizona, National Hair Centers has grown to be the largest hair loss facility in the United States. NHC achieved this unprecedented growth by providing one client at a time, outstanding results with exceptional personal care.
National Hair Centers has been owned and managed by the Zimmerman family for over 35 years. Arnold Zimmerman founded the company and was joined by his daughter Lisa in 1977.

Lisa D. Zimmerman, PresidentHaving virtually “grown up” in the hair loss industry, Lisa brings a level of unsurpassed understanding and compassion to her position as president of NHC. In addition, she is the Creator and Executive Producer of HAIR LOSS CONFIDENTIAL; a reality TV show that dramatically documents the emotional toll hair loss can take on women, men, and children. Lisa is dedicated to continuing the family’s legacy, leadership and contribution to the industry and has served on the executive boards for both national and international hair loss societies and associations. Lisa is a sought after writer and speaker in the field of hair restoration. |

Arnold Zimmerman, Founder & Former President (Retired)Arnold Zimmerman’s contributions to the hair restoration industry have been acknowledged with virtually every major industry award including “The Randy Martin Lifetime Achievement Award.” Arnold’s success in the industry led to him being honored as the first-ever recipient of his own namesake award: “The Arnold Zimmerman Lifetime Achievement Award,” presented by the Transitions International Group in 2009. Daughter, Lisa Zimmerman, succeeded her father as president of NHC upon his retirement in 2000. |
